The architecture and design duo of Isabelle Stanislas and Leiko Oshima aka SO-AN have given their signature touch to this 18 Century loft conversion. Situated in the heart of a Parisian neighborhood, the rue du Mail apartment is divided in two parts ; one part 18th century and one part loft.
The lofty “gallery” side of the apartment with its northern light welcomes the paintings and sculptures.
The ceiling of the 18th century half of the home was painted by Lebrun while the loft part was sectioned to create a terrace. In the 18th century part of the house the Versailles parquet floors have been left untouched and their ancient style create great contrast with the contemporary art in the room.
